McLaren Formula 1 team fined 100 million dollars and disqualified from 2007 season

From Autoweek

For its part in the Ferrari/ McLaren industrial espionage scandal , the World Motor Sport Council passed down the decision to exclude McLaren from the 2007 constructors championship and fine them 100 million dollars.

McLaren's drivers, defending champion Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, will continue their duel for the drivers' title .

It sounds more like this years Formula 1 championship is going to be decided in the courtroom , not on the racetrack.

I wonder if everyone is going to move to NASCAR now, COT spec cars. Not much you can industrially spy on there.

It's good that they left the drivers alone...
