GMS built a total of 5, Group A R32 GTR's, with the car we have for sale here, being the 5th and final evolution of everything GMS knew about making the GTR fast and reliable. GMS #5, teamed up with Mark Skaife and Jim Richards, is rightfully famous for winning the 1992 Bathurst 1000 and the 1992 ATCC, but it’s the victory speech given by Jimmy Richards, on the Bathurst winner’s podium, which truly sets this puppy apart from the rest; To my international friends reading this, please picture the winner of Spa, Le Mans, Daytona, Indy, (or wherever you’re from that is your local race of utmost significance and broadcast live on free to air TV), taking the top step, grabbing the Microphone and loudly announcing that the race goers in attendance are “a pack of assholes”.Just the end with the famous quote from Jim Richards.

Reece Mcgregor has today reset his own world record for the quickest 4wd powered car in the world. The team have been working extremely hard for many years to break out of the 7.5 (pb 7.53) zone and today, absolutely smashed it, firstly with a 7.45 @ 193, followed by the record setting 7.41 @ 193 mph.Big congratulations on a lot of hard work which eventually paid off. The team planned to release their Nissan 350z drag car once the car broke into the 7.4s, and we'll be waiting patiently for their next move.

The return of Gibson Motorsport build #2 Nissan GTR to the experienced hands of Fred Gibson and Alan Heaphy revives memories of the GMS connection to Thailand business man ( and motorsport fanatic) Prutiral Ratanakul Serireongrith.
Following the launch of Nissan’s new four wheel drive Skyline GT-R, long time Nissansport competitor and parts importer Bruce Wilkinson contacted Fred Gibson regarding the development of a GT-R for ‘Pharn’ to compete in regional events, including the FIA sanctioned South East Asian Touring Car Championship. Shortly afterwards a Japanese built GT-R race car arrived from Bangkok at the GMS workshop in Healey Road for extensive modifications, using both Nismo and locally developed GMS performance parts, including a Hollinger gearbox. The car was then returned to Thailand where it achieved credible results.
This car had already made an indelible mark in Australian motorsport, winning the 1991 Bathurst 1000 in the time of 6 hours, 19 minutes and 14.8 seconds, a record that stood for almost 20 years! On delivery, both Fred and Nissan team driver Mark Skaife travelled to Bangkok to commission the GT-R and provide driver and technical training for the complex car, by now christened ‘Godzilla’ by the Australian media.

Kevin Reimer is a professional downhill skateboarder, traveling all around the world to race down technical roads. When looking for a car to buy, he desired something with similar traction and grip as his skateboards, as well as something that could handle turns at speed. He found his perfect car: A 1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R. When he discovered that he and the car had both raced and won on the same course, he knew there was a special connection. Now Kevin has the ultimate tools: one to race down a canyon and one to drive to the top of one.Ah, they updated the about for the video. Seems he is from Canada. OK. Makes sense.
