New Nissan Skyline GT-R World Record 7.327 @191.9 mph

Robbie from RIPS in New Zealand finally did it. A new World Record time for a Nissan Skyline GT-R, beating the previous record holders 7.41 by Heat Treatments Racing. Both New Zealand based cars.

RIPS posted some pictures of their car showing the underside, and how many stock components are still used.Some technical details of RIPS MW3, or MGAWOT 3.

OEM floor, OEM tunnel, OEM firewall, OEM R32 rear end with rose jointed arms, OEM front end. 26 x 10 x 15 tyres.OEM Nissan RB30 block, no liners, no o-rings in block or head, Nitto head gasket, Nitto crank, pistons and rods, OEM head casting with porting and 1mm over valves by Kelfords. RIPS intake manifold, SINCO exhaust manifold, GTX55, Turbosmart 60mm Pro gate, Vi-PEC ecu "tuned by Jase" RIPS AWD powerglide and transfer case. Aprox power 1900hp @ 9500rpm. 60ft 1.23, 0-154mph 4.7 seconds, 0-192mph 7.32 seconds. Weight 1310kg."
