The R34 version of the Nissan Skyline GT-R starts turning 25 years old, and legal to import to the US starting in January 2024. That doesn't mean every R34 produced is legal. It means that by date of manufacture as they turn 25 years old, the R34 becomes legal.
According to GT-R Registry: 1286 R34 GT-R were made in January 1999

A total of 11578 were produced from January 1999 to August 2002. 5799 cars in 1999.
