The clutch master cylinder, and clutch master cylinder are the kind of parts you never really give much thought to. On a Nissan Skyline GT-R, be it an R32, R33, or R34, they use a hydraulic system that has a master cylinder mounted to the firewall that is actuated by the clutch pedal.   From the master cylinder the fluid travels down the firewall to a distribution block. From that block it goes through a dampening loop, then out to a rubber line connected to the slave cylinder.

It all is cute and good, until something fails. Brake fluid, that is used in the system is pretty corrosive stuff. Rubber parts, plus heat and time, break down pieces.

The OEM master cylinder for R32, R33, and R34 is 5/8ths of an inch or 15.875 mm.
