Nissan Skyline R33 Serial, Chassis , or VIN

I found these charts that they call the serial numbers, but they are the chassis number or equivalent of a VIN number. There were a few minor errors in the chart on Japanese Sport Cars, so I corrected them.  The R33 prototypes were first produced in 1992.  I find it strange that the R33 GT-R - BCNR33 starts with chassis number 000051 in 1994, but there is no listing for 1993. Although from the numbers there, 850 cars from 1994, so its not all pre-production.
I wonder if any of the other odd 3, 70,14,5 chassis produced in 1995 and 1996 give us any clue to N1's.

Some of these numbers don't exactly jive with what I have seen listed other places so if anyone knows how they counted them, let me know.

Sorry but this below which is taken from the information above is slightly wrong...

Total Production 1995-1998:
16250..REALLY?

because 9871 Normal
6551 Vspec (Including N1)
added together equals 16422!!!

True. The numbers were copied from GT-R Magazine, but they don't add up. Even worse, if you run FAST, the numbers are different still.

Sean, I have chassis number 41611, it decodes as a 97 model, some of my paperwork says 95, some says 97. trying to register in California, having trouble with the 12 digit vin as it is, does the year discrepancy throw another wrench in the gears?

Unless the car was certified for California, its not possible to register here. Needs to have a BAR label on it.
