MotoRex Years : The End : The Letter


MotoRex.

There is so much bad, and false information out there about MotoRex, it is nearly comical.  Even people that were pretty close to MotoRex, have some bad information, or really can't remember things as it happened.

As you can see in the above picture, MotoRex with JK Technologies did actually crash test cars. Other than MotoRex very few other entities ever crash tested a car.

Originally VCP-17 covered 1990-1999 Nissan Skylines, but that was partially rescinded to only cover 1996-1998 Nissan Skylines as VCP-32.

In the end, there were a lot of vehicles that were stuck. The owners of the vehicles had contracted with MotoRex, and the vehicles were brought into the US on good faith they would be brought into compliance.  The NHTSA allowed all these vehicles to be bond released in March 2006. That letter from the NHTSA is below.
