Rear Seat R32 GT-R |
These OEM clips that hold the lower section of the rear seat on an R32 in, are a simple device, that at times fight like they don't want to give up.

This is in the Aussie R32 FSM. Have never seen an R32 seat with a arm rest. The Resin holder is the retainer clip

The way you normally remove the lower section of the seat, is put a long flat head screwdriver, or a pry bar between the seat cushion, and the body of the car, then lift up near each hook. One on each side near the middle. They normally just pop out. Not every time is normal. Michael Brown had this tip " An easier way I've found is to use a 1" open ended wrench to push the metal hooks toward the rear of the car while pulling up on the cushion to pop it out of the clip."
We came across these rear seat clips that have a spring and lever on them, that allow you to remove the rear seat lower, much easier.
