VIN Swapped R32 GT-R Being Offered For Sale by Street Side Classics In Fort Worth Texas

This car just came across my computer this morning.  While checking it out, I noticed a few odd things with the listing.  This Nissan Skyline GT-R, is being offered at $61,995.  However there are more than a couple of red flags here.

Mileage: 63,253
Transmission: Manual
Exterior: Metallic Silver
Interior: Black

ER34?   Well that is odd.   or is it JN1MS34P1NW104623

Then in the pictures in the listing, you can see the firewall id plate is silver.  In the listing, they show the plate, and it is for a US model 240. 

Its a red, KA24 powered, automatic S13, at least according to this plate.   JN1MS34P1NW104623

This VIN label shows this chassis number as 10/91, which would be a 1992 car. If it were a 240, and not an R32 GT-R

This is a classic example of a mess of a car.  This is the type of car you want to stay far away from.  Too many stories, too much history. Who knows the origin of the original chassis.  It was probably illegally imported, someone used a 240 VIN to title the car. Now its many years later, and the car comes up for sale.  

You can buy plenty more better, less expensive, legal, with no strange history R32 GT-R in the world.
