Well, the original plan was for RentJDM to open up on April 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The universe and COVID-19 has thrown a bit of a wrench into those plans.  However, things are still happening. Yes this R34 is a Midnight Purple II that entered the US under Show or Display.  It is not going to be rented to drive, but will be available for static display, or some rides.  This is one of three R34 GT-R, that RentJDM has. Two MNP II, and one MotoRex R34 GT-R.

Which Fast and Furious car is your pick?

When it came time to pick cars for the first Fast and Furious movie, Craig Lieberman, the technical adviser went to his Rolodex and called up the people he knew.  The cars came out to several casting calls at Universal Studios.  We were one of the ones that showed up to a casting call with several R32 GTR, and an R33 GT-R.  These JDM cars were never originally sold in the US, but imported and Federalized through MotoRex.

Here is a partial list of JDM cars turning 25 years old in 2018.  At 25 years old a vehicle is exempt from NHTSA requirements.  At 21 years old in original configuration, a vehicle is EPA exempt. If you are in California or Hawaii, you have your own whole set of rules and regulations to deal with.

We've made lots of parts over the years but this is one of the coolest things I think we've designed. We have this setup with twin SP58mm turbo's so it's capable of over 1000rwhp and we anticipate to have that power accessible under 5krpms No more lag for anyone looking to also make 1000rwhp on a supra. No more having to use a GT47 for big power and sacrificing low end power.

We will use the factory VSV switched so it will plug right into the factory harness, however we'll use an EMS like (AEM or ProEFI) to control the switches.

5. Gary Javo Heffner TT GTS Viper - 212 mph

We got there about 2 and start unlooad the car and put the 18" with Toyo RA1 (ths Jim Flewelling) in the back and go for the record number. I even did a quick detail on my car since there was some rain earlier from Houston. I did a quick burn-out and line up and ready for the run. The car spun out in 1st, 2nd, 3rd drifting all the way but iam not letting out Shifted to 4th and holy shit it hooked, before the 1/2 mile mark i already on top of 4th which is about 160-170 and shifted to 5th and hold on till the 1 mile mark. The car was hauling ass all the way to 9320 RPM according to my AEM log by the mile mark......228.7 mph....so close to my round number 230 that i want for my personal license plate---230 MPH---

When i came back from the run, the Heffner guys Gary, Jason and SVS TT Viper Ron gave me prop for the run. They decided to take Gary's red TT Viper and run it till they can take out my number but there was a gas paddle failure that stop him from making the pass....Its was nice to meet you Ron, Gary and Jason
