Supertec Racing R35 ignition coil to R32 GT-R ignition coil kit |
Supertec Racing VR38 to RB26 adapter kit allows for fitting of VR38 coils from the R35 GTR.
These are a huge improvement over stock coils and rated to around 2000hp as demonstrated by some high powered R35s using factory coils.
These parts needed to install

- Wiring Harness ~$149
- R35 GT-R Coils each~$25 (aftermarket), $60 OEM Hitachi , $100 OEM Nissan dealer
- Coil charging time change (aftermarket ECU)

The ignition coil charge times are slightly longer for the R35 coils. This will normally require an adjustment in the ECU

For reference, an R35 coil @ 14.5v and its rough peak dwell ~3.8ms draws ~6-8amps and outputs more than double the spark duration and energy output.
